We work with a wide range of behavioral and emotional disorders in addition to those listed here, as well as isolated symptoms of sleep disturbance, irritability, impulse dysregulation, grief and loss, and trauma.
As a partnership, we will work together to find your path to healing. As a foundational approach, we recommend mindfulness practices and include psychotherapy in each visit. Meaning is found in relationship to oneself and others and patients seeking recovery from mental illness are encouraged to explore how their thoughts impact their wellbeing.
We are able to see a handful of patients for weekly psychotherapy but given our limited time available, we assist most of our patients in finding a therapist in the community or through tele-therapy that can help meet their specific goals. Learn more about our fees and policies.

Access to care is a pillar of our approach to innovative psychiatry.
To better serve our patients who prefer the privacy of not coming into the office, or who live outside of the Bastrop area, we offer follow-up telehealth appointments through the convenience of your laptop, tablet or phone.
Most initial evaluations are done in person to better establish rapport and to meet prescribing requirements of some medications; however, we will consider video evaluations depending on the type of care being requested so please inquire if you would like to be seen remotely for your first appointment.
